Stefanie and Gil's Capri, Italy Wedding!

So it's super late here and the internet is super slow AND I can't cut down my choices so here's a bunch of wedding photos! It was an incredible wedding day. Stefanie and Gil both got ready here at the JK Capri. Stefanie's dad is such a character but he's also a super softie. He kept crying every time he saw his daughter getting ready! She was absolutely beautiful in her dress.

All the guests were driven down to the marina where the funicolare (train) took everyone up to the Piazetta (town square) where there civil wedding took place. It was incredible seeing her walking down the street with all of the tourists and locals clapping and yelling out congratulations. After the civil ceremony, everyone gathered in the square and danced with Stefanie and Gil while 2 guitarists were playing and singing!

We all walked back out of the Piazetta where there were busses waiting to bring the guests back down to the JK. Dinner was amazing and at least another 100 bottles of Porsecco were opened!

Sorry for all the pics but so many people wanted to see them. I'll fill in more details about their wedding day when I have a faster connection! Here are just some of my favs!

Stefani and Gil's wedding week in Capri, Italy

I'm having an incredible time over here in Capri Italy! We checked into the JK Capri on Monday and it's been non stop ever since. People started to arrive all day Monday and Stefanie and Gil were so excited to see everyone come through the door. The JK Capri is a 5 star Luxury Boutique Hotel here on Capri and there are only 22 rooms. The whole hotel was reserved for a week just for guests! I can't even guess how many bottles of Prosseco Wine have been opened so far.... all I do know is that there were glasses handed to us the moment we arrived and they still haven't stopped coming!

Another amazing detail about this wedding is that they secured the whole kitchen staff to cater to the guests. The head chef, Rennato is the most charming little Italian man that never stops running around. He smiles constantly and is always checking on the guests to make sure everything is ok. Needless to say, the food has been amazing.

When we walked in the door, we were greeted... "buona serra, welcome home" and that's exactly what it feels like to be in this hotel with all the guests. Everyone is amazing and they all, especially Stefanie and Gil have treated Melissa and I like we're part of the family. One thing pretty amazing about everyone here is that they come from all over the world. There are guests here from the U.S.A, Vienna, Germany, Persia, Russia, Israel, Canada and London! And I'll say it one more time, they all treat each other like they're family, so cool! I just wish I knew how to speak Italian, German and Hebrew!

Here are some pictures from Monday.

I also wanted to show everyone the amazing view from my balcony in the next 2 pictures. This is where I'm sitting right now as I post this blog! I could really get used to this!
